Freedman has developed into one of the more compelling pop singer/tunesmiths we've heard in recent times...a star-in-waiting.

Skott Freedman plays piano-man pop filled with earnestness. In a husky voice similar to Marc Cohn's, he croons childhood memories and hopes of true love while the arpeggios ripple.

More power to him.

I've never heard anything like this...it's gorgeous, passionate, heartbreaking, and unabashedly honest. Freedman lives in a beautiful world, even when it's painful, and I'm finding it hard to leave.

Skott is one of those rare individuals who can play his instrument, sing great, and write a lyric. It pisses me off.
